Gold is considered a "noble" metal due to its ability to resist oxidation or corrosion even at high temperatures.
It is the ideal metal for daily use, it's effortless to keep clean.
To maintain its lustrous shine, wash it in warm soapy water or use a polishing cloth.
Solid Gold
Our jewellery is crafted using a 925 sterling silver base, coated with 14 karat gold.
While the standard plating thickness is typically 1 micron, we instead use vermeil plating, ensuring a minimum of 2.5 microns for a superior finish.
To keep your gold vermeil jewellery shining and gleaming, treat it like solid gold. Wash it in warm, soapy water or use a polishing cloth to maintain its lustrous appearance.
Gold Vermeil
925 sterling silver may naturally oxidize or tarnish over time due to factors such as the wearer's skin acidity, chemical exposure, chlorine, and saltwater. However, this is only a superficial issue and can be easily fixed with a silver polishing cloth.
At our store, we use a protective Nano & E Coating (Anti-Tarnish Technology) to provide extra protection for all of our 925 sterling silver jewellery.
